5 out of 5 stars Use it for moving things from my boat   October 25, 2006

On one hand it's a bag, whats the big deal, on the other hand WOW, WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO BRING THIS TO MARKET.

I use it to move things off my boat for the winter, and then keep it dust free while it sits in storage in my basement.

Great product

5 out of 5 stars Another Great Ziploc Product   June 13, 2008

I have always liked the Ziploc brand. I actually bought these bags a while ago when they first came out but only got around to using them yesterday (don't ask). Anyway, I decided that I didn't want to store our extra blankets and sheets in the closet without some protection so I tracked down my box. Wow. I was able to fit so much in just one bag! And squeezing the air out is really simple. I've read reviews of the Space Bags and they seem just horrible. Why spend 3 times the money on something else when these work great? I plan to get more soon so that we can store stuff up in our attic. I only have one word of caution, if you pack the bags heavy, don't carry by the handle. The heaviest bag didn't rip or stretch but I prefer to be cautious about such things. One XXL bag handled several sets of sheets and pillowcases while another was perfect for a queen size comforter. So, give these a try. I hope you'll be as happy as I am with the product.

5 out of 5 stars Sturdy and Useful   June 19, 2008

I adore these bags and have used them for multiple tasks. They are fantastic for general storage and are far superior to Space Bags in quality (I found that Space Bags tear and wear out easily; these do not). I've packed toys, clothes and linens, craft items, and even plastic dishes in these things.

They are great for camping. They are even sturdy enough to use as a hand washer or a bucket. Put water and a bit of soap in it and scrub your clothes or your dishes or whatever. Then prop it up to dry and fold it back up for easy transport. I keep the XL sized bags packed with emergency supplies for each of my family members, too.

I've also used these to haul laundry down the stairs. Just sort your loads into the bags and haul it to the washer. These bags really can be used over and over without any discernible impact on quality.

5 out of 5 stars store stuff cleanly   June 24, 2009

This is a nice product for storing pillows/blankets/sweaters/etc. in cases where your storage location might be less than pristine (e.g., garage, Manhattan closet, etc.) It doesn't have a real zipper, so I wouldn't jump on it or throw it around, but for storage purposes it should be just fine. FYI, I was able to pick up a 4-pack at a familiar and much-reviled mega-store for cheaper than Amazon's current 3-pack price. Word to the wise.

Need to store or move items, these are great. We have lots of dust and sand here in Yuma Arizona where I live, these work great keeping things clean.
